Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions

How do you get here?
Christ Church Carrollton meets in the Conference Room of the Oldfield Building in Carrollton on the Old Downtown Town Square. We are just east of IH-35E and just south of Belt Line Rd. Click for a map and directions.
What should you wear?
Please dress comfortably. Business casual is fine, but so are blue jeans. The Christ Church dress code has more to do with putting on Christ than putting on fancy clothes.
What will you do here?
Regardless of which service you attend, our time together will be reverent but relaxed. It will center on God's word. We will respond in prayer and praise, confession and thanksgiving. Our music blends the best of traditional hymnody with the best of contemporary hymnody. We integrate many musical styles and instruments. We will also confess our sins -- and our faith! We usually have a 3-minute greeting in the middle of the service, and an extended time of fellowship with refreshments afterwards. You won't be publicly singled out or embarrassed. Look under Worship for more service details.
What does Christ Church believe?
Christ Church Carrollton is a mission of the Presbyterian Church in America. That means we believe in the sovereignty of God, the centrality and inerrancy of God's word, and the importance of beginning and nurturing a personal relationship with Christ. We have roots in the Anglican tradition and were adopted by Presbyterians, but we stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone, of every denomination, who knows and loves Jesus Christ, aims to be his witnesses in the world, and submits humbly to his sovereign word. What about your kids?
Christ Church Carrollton is a family church. We welcome youth and children to all our parish activities, and we specifically include children in both our primary morning and evening services. Our junior and senior high school students learn about faith in Christ and making good decisions that will bring blessing to them and their families.
Can you get your child baptized at Christ Church?
It is our privilege to welcome new friends into the Christian family through baptism. We see baptism as a picture of God’s grace in action, so we enthusiastically baptize both adult believers and the children of Christian parents. For more information, contact Bill in the church office.
